Summer Pottery Classes at the Incubator

    Pottery Classes will be offered at the McAllen Creative Incubator for youths and adults. Students will learn a variety of hand building methods and color application using natural materials and hands on techniques. This class will allow your imagination to soar through creative expressionism.Tuition fees are all included, including all materials and firings needed to complete the course. Students will only need to bring a towel and wear clothing that you will be comfortable getting dirty and possibly stained.

The first youth session will be from June 15th through July 9th with the registration deadline being May 22, 2009. Classes will be offered on Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 11:30am and from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
The second youth session will be from July 13th through August 6th with the registration deadline being June 19, 2009.
Classes will be offered on Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 11:30am and from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
Youth Classes are for ages 9 to 13 years old and are limited to 8 students per class. The cost for this workshop is $145.00 per person.

The first adult session will be from July 7th through August 29th with the registration deadline being June 5th, 2009. Classes will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm the 8:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 11:30am or 1:00pm to 3:30pm
The second adult session will be from September 8th through October 31st with the registration deadline being August 7th, 2009. Classes will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm the 8:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 11:30am or 1:00pm to 3:30pm.

Adult Classes are for ages 14 and up and are limited to 10 students per class. The cost for this workshop is $245.00 per person. Persons signing up for the Adult classes will need to purchase 1 potters tool kit (at Michaels or Hobby Lobby), 1 gallon plastic bucket for water, 1 medium sized towel for drying hands, 2-3 plastic sheets like the ones you get at the dry cleaners or you can purchase some at a home improvement store.
